Each year we welcome orchestras to perform best-loved movie soundtracks alongside classic films screened in the Royal Albert Hall in our Films with Live Orchestra series.

The iconic score of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was the first film to be given the live orchestra treatment in 2009 and since then we have screened films of all genres from Frozen and Titanic, to Breakfast at Tiffany’s. In 2016 alone the Hall plays host to sci-fi action horror Aliens, action blockbuster Independence Day, Amadeus, and the timeless E.T.
