Even though December is always a very busy month for me, this year I’m leaving my workshop in the North Pole in the hands of my elves and taking a trip to London!
My elves are going to transform the Royal Albert Hall into a Christmas wonderland with decorations and twinkling trees, and set up a beautiful grotto for my stay, so I took a trip to explore my new home.
Ho ho ho that’s a big chimney! How am going to get in there?
This is where I’m going to be setting up my grotto, by Door 9. It’s not looking very Christmassy right now, but I’ll feel right at home when my elves have worked their magic on it. We’ll bring a huge tree, gifts for all the good girls and boys, and of course plenty of festive food and drink.
I got a sneak preview of the new Christmas tour. They took me backstage and underground; people don’t normally get to see down here!
Mmm mince pies, gingerbread and mulled wine! It’s a shame I’m on a pre-Christmas diet.
I’m not on the Hall’s iconic wall of fame yet… maybe after Christmas?
I must get back to the North Pole now to put the finishing touches to all the presents we’re making, but I can’t wait to come back and visit all the good boys and girls in London in December! Do bring your Christmas lists and visit me in my magical wonderland for gifts, treats and Christmas wishes.
Merry Christmas to one and all!
