Day 6 of the 2015 Teenage Cancer Trust season at the Royal Albert Hall saw former Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher return with his High Flying Birds to deliver yet another memorable night at the venue.

A full house watched Gallagher Sr.’s return to the Royal Albert Hall, his first gig at the venue since his headline performance at the 2013 Teenage Cancer Trust series, which saw him perform alongside old Britpop rival Damon Albarn.

Noel is a long-standing supporter of the Teenage Cancer Trust – he performed at the first ever concert for the charity here in 2000 and later curated the 2013 season.

With his band the High Flying Birds, Noel tore through material from his two solo albums, including 2015′s Chasing Yesterday, as well as a selection of Oasis favourites.

A packed house always welcomes Noel Gallagher at the Hall and this concert was no different. A last minute batch of tickets in the Choir seats behind the stage sold out just minutes after going on sale on the morning of the gig.

On their feet the whole night, his loyal fans sung along to every song – be they early Oasis B-sides or album tracks released just a matter of weeks ago.

This night marked Noel’s 6th appearance for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the venue since the concerts began in 2000. Since their inception the gigs have raised over £20 million to help create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK.

Returning for an encore, Noel led the 5,000+ in attendance in a mass sing-along of anthemic hit Don’t Look Back in Anger.

The night ended with a memorable performance of Wonderwall B-side The Masterplan.
